大家好!
我今天展示的是原创阅读试题，阅读的题目是《My dream is possible》。梦想可以说是一个很老的话题，但是今天我会选择这样一个话题，主要有三个原因。首先，在2012年的习总书记关于“中国梦—复兴之路”的讲话之后，梦想这个老话题又再一次的变得流行起来，电视上，网络上，各个新闻媒体关于“梦”的话题层出不穷。其次，此话题源于课本。本学期我任教的是八年级的英语，在《unit 6 I am going to study puter science.》这一单元中，主要的话题是谈论关于学生的理想。第三，因为在农村的教育中，大多数老师都发现，八年级上学期是学生的理想最模糊，目标最不明确的一段时间。为此我做了一个小调查，请大家观看视频。（播放视频）所以，基于以上原因，我设计了此短文，旨在渗透学生要树立切合实际的理想，明确目标，并为之努力。
这道阅读理解题共118个单词，其中包括两个生词。本篇短文是以第一人称的身份描述了我的理想。我的理想是拥有一个农场，可以饲养一些动物，种植一些水果和蔬菜，然后提供给人们绿色食品，为增强人们的健康做一点贡献。同时说明了只有通过努力，才能够实现自己的理想。本片阅读理解题目中，第一题和第五题考察学生通过文义推测作者身份和句子位置，主要考察学生的推理能力。第2—4题要求学生能较快地通过阅读理解短文大意，获取其中的主要信息，能做出正确判断，组织语言，回答问题。本篇阅读理解主要考察学生的语篇阅读能力和分析能力。文章的难易程度和初三课文基本相同，要求阅读速度为每分钟40-50个词，由于此题并非用于学生的选拔性的考试，所以试题的区分度较低，多数学生的分值都应该能在6至8分，甚至可以得到满分。我认为学生在前四题
上通过仔细阅读基本都能够得出正确选项，只有第五题稍有一些难度，但是如果联系好上下文语句，得出正确选项也比较容易。
因为我想让学生能够明白其中蕴含的树立理想，要有明确目标的道理，所以此篇阅读理解内容比较简单。在实际的教学中，学生通过自主阅读就能理解短文大意，并能够完成短文题目，分析出文章中蕴含的道理，所以我认为实际使用的效果会比较好。

I don't know what that dream is that you have. I don't care how disappointing it might be as you're working toward that dream.But that dream that you're holding in your mind – it's possible.Some of you already know that it's hard. It's not easy.It's hard changing your life. In the process of chasing your dreams, you are going to incura lot of disappointment, a lot of failure, a lot of pain.There will be moments when you are going to doubt yourself. You'll say, “Why, God? Why? Why is this happening to me? I'm just trying to take care of my children, and my mother. I'm not trying to steal or rob from anybody. How did this have to happen to me?” For those of you who have experienced some hardships –don't give up on your dream.The rough times are gonna e, but they will not stay, they will e to pass.
Greatness is not this wonderful, esoteric, elusive god-like feature that only the special among us will ever taste. It is something that truly exists in all of us. It is very important for you to
believe that you are the one!
Most people….they raise a family, they earn a living, and then they die. They stop growing, they stop working on themselves, they stop stretching, they stop pushing themselves. Then a lot of people like to plain but they don't wanna do anything about their situation. And most people don't work on their dreams. Why? One is because of fear – the fear of failure. “What if things don't work out?”. And the fear of success. “What if things DO work out and I can't handle it?”. These are not risk takers.
You've spent so much time with other people. You've spent SO MUCH TIME trying to get people to like you, you know other people more than you know yourself! You've studied them, you know about them, you want to hang out like them, you want to be JUST LIKE THEM! And you know what? You've invested SO MUCH TIME IN THEM, you don't even know who you are! I challenge YOU to spend time by yourself.
It's necessary that you get the LOSERS out of your life if you want to live your dream. But for people who are chasing their dreams, life has a special sort of meaning. When you bee the “right person,” what you do is you start separating yourself from other people. You begin to have a certain uniqueness. As long as you follow other people, as long as you're being a copy-cat, you will NEVER EVER BE the best copy-cat in the world.
I challenge you to define your value.
Not everyone will see it. Not everyone will join you. Not everyone will have the vision. It's
NECESSARY to know that. You are an unmon breed! It's necessary that you align yourself with people and attract people into your business – people who are hungry. People who are unstoppable and unreasonable. People who refuse to leave life just as it is and who want more! The people who are living their dreams are the people who know that if it's gonna happen, it's up to them.
If you wanna be successful, if you wanna have and do stuff you've never done before… I challenge you to invest in YOU.
Someone's opinion of you does NOT have to bee your reality. You don't have to go
through life being a victim. And even though you face disappointments, you must know within yourself, that you can do this. Even if no one helps you see to it, you must see it for yourself. This is what I believe, and I'm willing to die for it. Period.
No matter how bad it is, or how bad it gets….I'm going to make it. I wanna represent an idea. I wanna represent possibilities. Some of you right now, you wanna go to the next level. You wanna be a civil engineer, you wanna council, you wanna be a doctor.
